Art and politics make for an uneasy alliance, no matter what they say. The message too readily obscures the experience even while emotion and sensibility morph into doctrine.   In my Urban Forest series, I impose the modern experience of technology, of late capitalism run rampant, upon our notions of a forest.  I weave homelessness into a pattern, using poster images.  Hydro wires dissect my sunsets. Obama has become a cut-out.
